About Painter Kafeel
Painter Kafeel is an artist from Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh who has cultivated a rich sign-painting practice in Delhi for over three decades.
A long time collaborator of Hanif Kureshi and part of the HandPaintedType Project, Painter Kafeel has helped promote and preserve the art of sign painting which has rapidly declined due urbanisation.
