Guesswho’s practice is a whimsical juxtaposition of figures from western popular culture and regional characteristics that allow the audience to pause and visually trace how and why they recognise these images.
Known to stencil the streets of Kochi during the Biennale, the artist’s work is often critical of the art market. The artist is excited by the temporality of the work which can either be instantly whitewashed or disrupted by authorities. However, it encourages Guesswho to keep at it.
