Kanishka Porwal

Kanishka Porwal is an art advisor at Gallery XXL, navigating sales, acquisitions, and advisory services. Her trajectory began with a Bachelor of Architecture from Sushant School of Art and Architecture, Gurugram, before pivoting toward the mechanisms of the art market with a Master's in Art Business at Sotheby's Institute of Art, New York. While in New York, she worked with leading art institutions, including Lisson Gallery, Gladstone Gallery, Christie's, TEFAF, and The Winter Show. She won the Gavel Competition during her graduate studies, an art business incubator designed to surface and support new ventures. Today, her attention is drawn to emerging Indian practitioners, interdisciplinary forms, and the friction points where art meets platforms and technology.
