Sabiha’s works begin with a personal memory, one of which is the wrought iron grill of her grandmother's house, a structure that wrapped her in safety while filtering how she approached the world. Through these grills, life was observed in fragments; deciding what remained hidden and what could slip into view. The Wall that Wore Lace, A Room that Breathed in Stitches, The Window that Grew a Garden, and A Conversation Held in Hands each become a study of the unseen, the quiet resistance and the strength that gathers in the patterns that protect us.
