Hanif Kureshi was an artist and designer whose work celebrated the cultural significance of street art and typography. He also founded handpaintedtype.com, a digital archive preserving India’s vernacular lettering traditions, ensuring that this unique art form would be remembered and appreciated globally. His work was showcased at prestigious platforms such as the London Design Biennale and Venice Biennale, reflecting his influence on the international art scene. Hanif’s creative leadership continues to inspire St+art's commitment to making art accessible and relevant to public spaces.
